How long does the review process take?

Review timelines are published in the Partner Portal after approval. Webx will communicate feedback or approval through the Portal. Complex submissions may require multiple review cycles.

Can I set my own pricing for themes and plugins?

Yes. You set the price for your theme or plugin. Webx retains 20% as a platform fee and remits 80% to you. Refunds and chargebacks are deducted from your earnings.

What happens if my plugin gets delisted?

Webx may delist a plugin for policy violations, security issues, incompatibility, or merchant harm. You will be notified and given an opportunity to address issues where possible. If you choose to sunset a plugin, you must follow Webx sunsetting guidelines and give merchants reasonable notice.

Can I build both a theme and a plugin under the same account?

Yes. A single Tech Partner account can cover both theme development and plugin development. You can submit and manage both types of listings through the same Partner Portal.

Do I need to use Webx Billing for my plugin?

Yes, unless Webx has granted a written exemption. Webx Billing handles merchant charges, renewals, and refunds for plugin subscriptions. If exempted, you are required to submit monthly revenue reports and remit platform fees as specified by Webx.

Can I use the Webx name in my plugin or theme title?

No. You may use phrases like "Works with Webx" to indicate compatibility, but you may not use "Webx" in your plugin or theme name, domain, or branding without prior written consent from Webx.

When and how do I get paid?

Approved earnings are paid monthly via bank transfer on a net-30 basis. You must have completed KYC and banking details in the Partner Portal and must meet the minimum payout threshold.

Can I also join as a Service Partner?

Yes. A single partner account lets you activate multiple tracks including Service, Tech, Affiliate, and Education. You can start with Tech and add other tracks from the Partner Portal at any time.
